Home Ed Hub
Swanage

About
Hi, I’m Chloe. The face (and heart!) behind the Home Ed Hub in Swanage.
I’m a qualified teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience and I have a Master’s in Education. Teaching has always been my passion, and while I loved my time in schools, I wanted to create a space where learning could feel calmer, more creative, and truly accessible to all children. That’s how the Home Ed Hub began.
What I Offer
At the Hub, I provide:
-
1:1 and small group sessions in English, Maths and Science.
-
Online 1:1 sessions and Online Group Sessions
-
Outdoor Learning Groups at Local Nature Reserves
-
A safe, supportive space for children aged 5–14 to learn and grow
Every session is designed to be engaging, accessible, and enjoyable, blending the structure of the classroom with the freedom and flexibility of home education.
My Approach
My sessions are calm and relaxed, with plenty of space for creativity, hands on activities, and individual growth. I work closely with families to adapt learning to their child's learning needs.
I have experience supporting children with a range of additional needs, including SEN, Neurodivergent, and more complex needs. My focus is to ensure that every child feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. The heart of my sessions is about building confidence, nurturing curiosity, and making learning a positive experience.
The Space
In person sessions take place in my home studio in Swanage. A welcoming environment filled with books and plenty of learning supplies. The space is big enough to accommodate four children at a time.Or, join from the comfort of your own home during the online sessions.
outdoor learning
Our Outdoor Learning Groups are set in the beautiful nature reserves and wild spaces across the local Dorset area.
These small group sessions (maximum of 10 children) are designed to bring learners together for hands on discovery, creative projects, and nature inspired learning. Each session blends elements of Science, Art, and Geography, encouraging children to explore, question, and create in a practical, engaging way - away from traditional classrooms.
Outdoor Learning Groups run throughout the year and follow seasonal themes. One week might focus on habitats and wildlife, another on natural art or environmental science. Children will spend time exploring the outdoors, take part in linked creative or scientific activities, and enjoy relaxed, social time with others in a supportive setting.
Suitable for ages 7–11, these sessions offer the perfect balance of learning, creativity, and connection with nature.
